Caymanian 110-metre hurdler Rasheem Brown took third in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, for the SEC Outdoor Track & Field Championships held at LSU’s Bernie Moore Stadium.
Brown, a senior at Tennessee, ran 13.43 seconds in the prelims on Saturday – a personal best and fastest time since the 2019 CARIFTA Games, where he clocked 13.41 seconds.
Brown went on to the finals where the 23-year-old finished in 13.64, good enough for a bronze medal – his second SEC medal of 2023 after claiming SEC silver in the 60-meter hurdles indoors.
He posted a photo on his Instagram holding a paper that wrote “God’s will” following his run.
