The Cayman Islands senior women’s national football team made it two straight victories in their friendly international tournament in Turks and Caicos Islands when they defeated US Virgin Islands Sunday (August 1) afternoon.
The Caymanian ladies worked their way to a 5-0 clean sheet win over USVI at the TCIFA National Academy, marking their second consecutive victory, after they handed Bahamas a 4-0 loss in the opening match.

To open with goal number one, was none other than Sunset FC’s Molly Kehoe who scored in the 23rd minute. Just before halftime, teammate Neesah Godet found the back of the net, closing the first half 2-0.
Cayman’s striker Susani Lucas made it 3-0 in the 66th minute and just three minutes later, teammate Ethana Villalobos registered goal number four. To put the icing on the cake, was Kehoe who netted her second and final goal of the match in the 72nd minute.
Cayman will face off against Bahamas Monday (August 2) evening for first place.
