Sunset registers 29 goals against Latinos

Sunset FC has now scored on Latinos 29 times within two games. Sunset defeated Latinos 13-0 in the Cayman Islands Football Association Women’s League Sunday (13 December) night to enter their second victory over the spanish team.

When the two teams first met during round one in the league, Sunset dethroned Latinos 16-0.

Sunset sits behind league leader’s Elite with 15 points and with the most goals scored in the league at 41.

However, a red card must’ve been shown to Latinos luck as they have yet to win a single game. Latinos loss nine straight games, scoring once and conceding 86 goals.

The game Sunday night at Haig Bodden Field featured both Molly Kehoe and top scorer Chloe Bentick of Sunset, each getting hatricks. However, Kehoe wasn’t done at three, as she went on to score goal number four in the 59th minute.

Teammates Ciara Bradley, Kalie Ebanks and Shayanna Windsor all got their name on the scoreboards as well. Windsor scored a pair in the 24th and 41st minute.

Bradley made the score 8-0 in the 74th minute, while Ebanks closed the game off on the 90-minute mark with a goal of her own.
