Bodden Town FC earned the double at home against George Town SC Saturday (12 December) night, after a two nil clean-sheet victory in the Cayman Islands Football Association (CIFA) Premier League.
During their first encounter in round two of the CIFA Premier League, Bodden Town entered enemy’s territory and still prevailed with three points.
The Bodden towners proved to be the better team after winning again during round 11; taking their points earned from George Town to six.
The game was sealed early, after both Dexter Monroe and teammate Theron Wood scored respectively in the first half.
Bodden Town now trails in second with five points behind Scholars ISC after the league leaders drew 0-0 with Elite SC during their round 11 fixture.
Despite losing, George Town remains in seventh place in the league, above Sunset, Roma and East End.
The CIFA season will take a pause for the Christmas break and will resume January 15, 2021.
