Caymanian Joshua O’Garro confirmed his jersey number for the University of Oklahoma college basketball team Sunday (18 October) evening via Instagram.
O’Garro first gave his verbal commitment to play with the sooners back in August this year after closing his junior season at Santa Clarita High School, in California.
His caption after posting the photos in his new jersey simply stated; “just a kid from the 345.”
Now set to play at the NCAA Division I level; fans will be looking for number 21 on the courts. Once O’Garro plays his first game, it would make him the first Caymanian to play basketball at that level.
