Results from the 3rd PwC tournament of 2020

The Cayman Islands tennis junior circuit returned to the tennis club courts this past weekend for the first time since March. The two day competition marked the third PwC Junior Circuit Grand Prix tournament for 2020.

The tournament served off on Saturday (10 October) and concluded on Sunday (11 October) with 22 players participating in four different age groups.

Defending champ Liliana Goss went unbeaten in all four of her games to take first in the 10&under. In the 12&under, Mico Samson claimed gold after a close final against Leo Frank.

Rafael Wejbora won the 14&under age group and Lauren Fullerton was victorious in the 18&unders after dominating the rest of her competition throughout the tournament.

“It was great to see players back on the courts last weekend,” stated in a TFCI social media post. “The Tennis Federation of the Cayman Islands (TFCI) would again like to thank PwC for their continued support and ongoing sponsorship of the PwC Tennis Tournaments.”
