Despite their efforts, Popeyes refuse to be denied and turned up their offensive play late in the game with strikes from Larue Nixon and Paul Chin.

Popeyes held their defensive ground till the final whistle, ending the match 28-19. Following the game, the team was awarded the CoEd season trophy with Gold Cup MVP honours going to their own Lisa Malice and Larue Nixon.
