The third week in the Cayman Islands Corona Beach Volleyball League wrapped up Sunday (27 September) evening at 7-Mile Beach.
Untouchables won the A division after defeating I don’t know BoBo in the final playoffs of the day. While former champions, Bubbles and Beers placed third.
Sandemic reclaimed the throne in the B division after winning against Take a Hit in the finals. The team was also victorious during week 1, which earned them a promotion to the A division. However, their run against the league’s top teams was short lived after being demoted back into the B division following week 2. Sandemic will get a second crack in the A division during week 4.
In the C division, I’d Hit That defeated Game Changers in a highly competitive match that ended 21-18. With that victory, I’d Hit That will now get an automatic promotion into the B division during week 4.
The league is scheduled to resume this Sunday (4 October) weather permitting.
