The Cayman Islands Corona Beach Volleyball League served off this past Sunday (13 September) to open it’s new season. The league had been previously cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic that forced a lock-down back in March. However, after a seven month layoff, action returned to the sand in a big way, with over 15 teams playing in the first round.
The league is split into three divisions; division A, division B and division C, with A being the highest ranked and C being the lowest. However, teams that win majority of their games within the C and B division will gain an automatic promotion into a higher rank for the upcoming week.
While teams that lose majority of their games within the A and B division, will be regulated into a lower rank.

Games will be played every Sunday for a total 6 weeks at 7-Mile Public Beach; with the playoffs scheduled for mid October.
In addition, here are the winners from week one in the Corona Beach Volleyball League.
A division winners: Bubbles and Beers B division winners: Sandemic C division winners: Notorious DIG
