Dolphin Discovery defeated Deloitte 20-14 in The Burger King CoEd League Monday (31st August) night at the Ed Bush stadium in West Bay. League leaders Deloitte’s were highly favoured heading into the match, having won all their previous games, while Dolphin Discovery came in on a 2-game losing streak.
Despite having no substitutes, Dolphin Discovery controlled the game from the get go; scoring three touchdowns it total to secure the win.
“We know we’re going to be the underdog in most if not all of our games, but we are going to come out and play as hard as we can,” said Dolphin Discovery’s captain Anahi Tapia Zavala.
Monday night also featured Kimpton Seafire and Maples both winning their respective matches by 6 points, while Magnum left no doubt in their match, beating Coca Cola 42-6. In addition, Popeyes defeated Tribe Tattoo 28-7 and Cayman Auto tied 20-20 with Balls Deep.
