The opportunity to become a Cayman Islands Football Association (CIFA) referee has come. The CIFA Referees Department is offering free certificate online courses next month (September) for members of the public and current match officials.
“Referees perform a vital role in the global sport of football, ensuring safety, fairness, equality and enjoyment,” stated in a CIFA release. “With the growth in football’s popularity, particularly among women and youth, the demand for match officials is always increasing.”
The online certification course is scheduled to start September 6 through the 13.
